The Blach's have been raising and exhibiting Champion show cattle for the past 14 years. Cattle from the Blach’s have competed at many shows throughout Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming. They have raised numerous county fair champions and sale qualifiers at the Colorado State Fair and National Western Stock Show in Denver. As well as the bull “Yuma” that was purchased by Caldwell Show Cattle and recently bought by Goddard Cattle Company. The Blach's breeding program is comprised of Maine, Simmental, Angus, and Charolais Commercial cows. They have a select group of cows that are Artificially Inseminated and flushed to the industry’s leading club calf bulls. The cowherd is raised on sand hill grass and wintered on corn stalks.
Blach Ranch is located in the sand hills of Northeastern Colorado near Yuma. Five miles east of Yuma on Highway 34 to County Road L, south four miles to County Road 34, east ½ mile to Blach Ranch. Only two hours west of Eckloff and Strolberg on Highway 34 and two hours northeast of Denver.
